Hi ya'll im Aria! I am a student right now studying special education and minoring in neuroscience, behavior and cognition. I have a 3 yr old daughter who is the love of my life she is expressive, beautiful, loving and silly. She also happens to have down syndrome. I have unfortunatly found myself in the position of being a single mom to her and ending up pregnant alone again.
I am not to far along into this pregnancy but have known that I cannot financially, emotionally, physically care for a special needs child and a plus one by myself. It pains me but mothering is about sacrifice and I feel that this is the ultimate one I have to make. I hope that its ok that I join this group and get to talk to some of the people involved here!
Re: Hi all, New
Welcome!
We are a mix of people with many different and diverse experiences in regards to adoption. As I wait to be an adoptive mom, I have learned so much about the adoption process from the many perspectives found on this board.
Welcome to the board : ). As previous posters have said, we are a mix of expectant moms, birthmoms, adoptive parents, people that want to adopt, and adoptees too. This is a great board, I think you will find a lot of support here. : )
Hi, and welcome! I'm pretty new here myself, but I have gotten a lot of info and support from everyone as I'm waiting to become an adoptive parent. I think you'll find some great folks on this board from all parts of the adoption experience. Thoughts and prayers to you.

Hi, and welcome! I just read this, after already replying to your newer post. I'm so sorry you are finding yourself in this difficult position. I can't imagine how tough it must be to make the decision you are making and the strength and love you have to follow through.
I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers throughout your pregnancy and beyond, and I hope you find much support on this board. I know I could not have found the support I've needed (and found here) throughout our journey anywhere else.
