I am very excited for them! I wonder if there will be a lot of talk around the sex (of the baby) - if it's a girl, would she still be heir to the throne?
I also wonder if they'll find out the sex - I always wonder this about celebs.
Congrats to them! The media was bound to get it right eventually, although I wonder if they would have released the info so soon if she didn't need to be hospitalized. Apparently being a princess doesn't make you immune to morning sickness.

.
Yes they changed the "rules" to allow that whether their baby is a boy or a girl it will be heir to the throne. I am so excited for them, I know some people couldn't care less, but I wish them well.
Oh that is good news! I didn't know that.
What if they have twins? Does the one who comes out first become the heir? Why am I so interested in this?!
According to Wiki, when it comes to twins, it's whichever was born first. According to Yahoo Answers, it's whichever was born first, unless its a primogeniture country...in which case the same rule applies, unless it is boy and girl twins, then the boy would inherit the throne even if he was born second.
Congrats to them! I can only imagine how long that baby's name is going to be....royals have the longest names!
That's so exciting! I love Prince Will and Kate! I'm really curious to see her pregnancy fashion. You know she's going to have amazing maternity clothes!
I'm so happy for them but a little bummed the news came out before they were ready because of her trip to the hospital.
On the radio this morning, they were talking about IF she had twins and IF she had to have a c-section how the doctor could pick the third in line for the thrown. A lot of ifs, but very interesting.
In the staffroom at the school I was teaching at today there was a magazine with the cover being all about the royal baby and Kate's expanding waistline. I was amazed and impressed with how quickly the magazine had managed to get published with the news. Yeah, it was from September. I can't even begin to imagine being a celebrity and having my waistline constantly scrutinized for signs of a possible baby bump!
Re: Kate Middleton is pg!
This makes me happy! I wish I could be a fly on the wall when they talk baby names.
Poor thing must be feeling pretty awful to be hospitalized for several days. Hope everything else goes smoothly.
Poor girl has Hyperemesis gravidarum (wich still sounds like a spell from Harry Potter if you ask me). Wouldn't wish that on anyone.
ETA: Edited for really bad spelling.
I had that - barfed my brains out for 3 months. Its miserable.
