At what point does movement become a little more consistent? I will be 20 weeks tomorrow and I have been feeling pokes and flutters on and off just about every day for the past week or so. I just wish I could feel baby a little more!
I started feeling my LO around 16-17 weeks. I started feeling her very lightly. Now she's bigger and stronger and more noticeable. If I have a busy day, I still don't feel her consistently. Yesterday MH and I worked outside most of the day and I only recall feeling her a few times. It will get more consistent as she grows.

I can't remember when consistent movement is supposed to happen and am too lazy to google it right now. With my first, I didn't feel anything until 22 weeks and it wasn't very consistent for a while.
Ok. I lied. Turns out I did have time to google it. Kick counts start at 28 weeks.
Idunno, I can't remember back to my daughter, but I'm almost 20w now and I'll feel stuff consistently if I'm sitting still or laying down in bed, but if I'm up and moving around (or even standing, only twice I felt him while I was standing up), I don't notice feeling anything.
I didn't feel baby move until about 19 weeks, but now at 22 weeks I am feeling baby consistently, to the point where I get a little worried if it has been more than an hour or two.

This is when my OB says consistent movement actually matters. She says to start looking for consistent movement around 24ish weeks, but 28 is when she asks patients to start doing kick counts.
With my DD, I started feeling pretty consistent movement right around 20 weeks.
This time around, I started feeling consistent movement around 18 weeks or so. It's not all day long, but I feel pokes and kicks here and there and lots in the late afternoon/evening.
It really varies for everyone, however, you can probably expect to feel consistent movement by 24-26 weeks.
I've FINALLY started to feel consistent movement! I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow - I'm a FTM, so I was unsure what type of feeling to expect, or if what I was feeling was really our LO kicking. Yesterday, she was so active - I'm confident I've got my future little cheerleader in there I'm very much looking forward to when my hubby can share in the excitement of feeling her move!
