Thoughts on last nights finale?
1. If Andrea would have killed Michonne, I would have been SO. DONE. with that show. I was also really hoping that Michonne would have killed the governor. I'm too optimistic about this show, ha.
2. I really hate Andrea.
3. If Daryl dies, I will also lose faith in this show. It looked like he was up and doing things in the peek at February's episodes, though.
4. What do you think is going to happen next?

Didn't realize it was the finale and am NOT IMPRESSED that it's off until February. I hate it when shows do this to me!!!!
1. I agree with all of this. I was also hoping that Andrea might kill the govenor once she saw how bat *** crazy he is.
2. I also hate her, but I feel as though she will win us back. I think she's going to go back to her original crew and completely sabotage the govenor. I hope so anyway.
3. If Daryl dies I'll be pissed.
4. Who knows. LOL! This show is always surprising me.
My question: Did I miss something? Why was the governor so quick to throw Meril under the bus? It was a complete lie what he said right? I was so confused at the end. I was folding baby's clothes and was a bit distracted by all the cute outfits that I think I missed something.

Because he's evil and BSC, I'm assuming. I don't really know. He was pissed because his zombie daughter died and that Andrea saw what a freakshow he is with the zombie heads and he blamed Merle for letting in Daryl & the rest of them... Dude creeps me out.
Also, I thought Andrea was getting better when she was being all badass with Michonne, but now she's being a b!tch again. She gets no more chances with me, haha.
ETA: I just remembered that Merle also told the governor that Michonne was dead. So yeah, he was just pissed off in general.
I am SUPER annoyed at Maggie. I understand keeping Merle alive for the plot of the show and reuniting with Daryl. However....you've just escaped being marched to your death. The guy that beat the crap out of your man, AND threw a walker at him, has a knife to his throat, and you have a gun, and YOU DON'T SHOOT HIM IMMEDIATELY!!! I call BS. My husband and I talked about that scene for awhile and both agreed there would be no hesitation in shooting him and making a get away. Idiot.
Rest of the episode...priceless. My mouth never stopped hanging open after seeing that sword come through Penny's mouth.
I was PISSED that the new black guy from the prison was shot. We don't have a lot of "muscle" left in terms of defense, and I really was hoping that the guy would turn into a main character and maybe even romance Michonne.
I knew neither Michonne nor the Governor would be killed. They both seem like too big of characters to die off so quickly. I thought it was awesome that Penny died. However, it was probably the only time I will ever feel sorry for the Governor.
I think Andrea will come back around to being an awesome character. You could see Merle and Daryl both in the upcoming February episodes (Glen yells at Daryl and says, "what is HE doing here!" obviously referring to Merle), so I think Andrea will help defend them and get them freed. Plus, Rick won't leave Daryl there alone. He needs him too badly.
I'm glad they finally are going to "grow" the group with a few new members. Like I said, I was hoping the new black guy would stick around, but at least we are getting some new younger people to help defend the group. Lord knows there's about to be a war at the prison, so we will need the help!
I think the Governor threw Merle under the bus b/c he's an egotistical a** who didn't want to look like he did anything wrong in front of the town. He needed someone to blame, so he blamed Merle (which makes sense since his brother was involved and Merle did in fact lie.) Obviously, it wasn't his fault, but he makes the most sense to be blamed in this situation.
That creepy white guy from the prison is going to get killed. He's going to try to rape or hit on either Carol or Herschel's other daughter, and Carl is going to straight up shoot him in the head. Ha.
Twinsies. Only two shows I watch! Well, and Wheel of Fortune, but that is a gameshow, not a "show". Ha.

1. There's no way Andrea would have killed Michonne. They've been through too much together. I loved how Michonne just sat in front of the door with her sword, waiting for the Governor.
2. Andrea is already suspicious of the Governor for having the wall of heads. I think she will ditch him in the end and return to her previous group. She just being very naive right now.
3. They won't kill Daryl off. He's too important of an asset to the group. They could kill Merle off since he seems more of a cameo character they just decided to bring back for a few episodes. He's not as likable as his brother.
4. The bros can team up to off the Governor and militants, then head back to the prison to rejoin with the rest of the group while assimilating the newcomers from the outside. I don't know how the Woodsbury residents will fare by themselves, but I def don't think the Gov will be around to lead them.
1. I have never liked Andrea even from the first season. I was hoping she wouldn't be so annoying still, but that isn't the case. She is probably needed, though, to get Daryl and Merle out of there.
2. I got so grossed out with the glass in the eye. I shrieked so loud and then was sick to my stomach for a while. The Governor makes me absolutely sick. I liked David Morrissey much better when he was in Doctor Who, in the Christmas episode the Next Doctor. Brittany-don't know if you realized that. Anyway, in the comic, the Governor always had the eye patch, so i guess they are just showing you how it happened in the show.
3. If this show actually followed the comic, which there are some things that it does, or so DH tells me, there would be a lot more characters coming and going. I like that they are bringing in a few more characters because I like to see the relationships between people during an apocalyptic event. It's really not about them killing zombies, but how they are with each other.
