Keller, Grapevine, South Lake and Colleyville would all probably be good places. I'm not sure what suburbs are good on the south side of Fort Worth but if you want a shorter commute, you might want to look there as well.
Grapevine and Colleyville have nice areas and Keller is a pretty new area, but they are all north of Ft Worth so your DH will have a pretty good haul to get to work everyday.
ETA: Steer clear of South Fort Worth- crime and drugs, a no go.
What type of house are you after? New build, older with character?
Did you want to be in the city or a suburb?
Arlington Heights neighborhood is full of houses built in the 1920s older bungalow or tudor style. You pay a premium for the character and the neighborhood.
Benbrook is a little suburb just outside FW that is nice.
