I am new to this site and have been reading numerous posts.
We are just in the waiting process. My husband and I have had our home study approved since July, 2011. We recently moved for my husband's job and had to redo our home study and completed that just two months ago.
We are anxious to have a match and bring our baby home.
We still are struggling to deal with the waiting time and if anyone has any good advice on how to handle the waiting period, it would be much appreciated.
Re: New
Welcome! I hope this phase of your wait is short.
We had a short wait, but we just lived our lives. Slept in. Went on spontaneous trips we knew would be more difficult with a child in tow. Attended a newborn care class. Read about post-placement adoption experiences. Went to the movies. Tweaked our baby gear Amazon wishlist. Checked in with our agency occasionally.
I hope to see you here often!

Hi, and welcome!
The waiting is hard. I wish I had good advice, but really, no matter how busy you keep, it is still hard. Just be kind to yourself, and know that your child will find you in his/her time.
