Craigslist stroller - reasonable price?

HI everyone - my parents already bought our main stroller for us as a gift .... but we are looking to buy a second hand BOB single off Craigslist for running.

I was wondering what you think is a reasonable price to pay for a 2nd hand BOB in good condition?  And does what year it is matter if it's well taken care of and works?

There are a couple for $150.  I'll try at least for $125.  I ask because yesterday there was one that looked great but it was from like 2006 and they wanted $130, and I felt $130 was a lot for something 6-7 years old.  WDYT?

 Thank you guys!

  • When I buy off CL, I choose nothing older than 2-3 years and must be at least 50% of retail price in most cases.

  • The BOBs on craig's list in my area sell for quite a bit! They must had a great resale value. We decided to get a used Mountain Buggy for this reason. They are excellent quality and we got it for $50 versus nearly $200 for a used BOB.
