Hello Ladies! =)

DH and I just got home. =) Our cruise was wonderful! DH was finally able to really relax for a while, and it was just over all a great experience for us. We hadn't had a vacation together in over a year and a half and it really reinforced to us how important it is for our relationship and our sanity to just get away sometimes. We decided to plan a beach vacation this summer for all three of us. =)


Annoying things that happened:
We got to MILs to pick up LO and she was feeding him a bottle of water. Apparently she has been doing that every night AND juice. -_- We had a serious talk about that. 

She also stopped using the Woombie (which was ok because I knew I would have to ween him off of it when we got home anyway) BUT she stopped putting him down while he was awake! Normally we always put him down for his nap and for the night while he's still awake so that he learns to fall asleep on his own, but instead she rocked him to sleep every night...which we paid for last night when he wouldn't go to sleep. I'm crossing my fingers that tonight goes better. We'll see.
 
Last but not least- When we got home, there was water standing in our bathroom floor and mold growing on the cabinet. Thankfully we're renting (currently house hunting) and our landlords sent someone over quickly. 
 
 
Awesome things that happened:
 
I discovered a new favorite wine, and when I had a chance to google it I was surprised because its only $13 a bottle. lol!
 
LO started saying "Mah"! We practice "da da da" and "ma ma ma" with him all the time and I figured he's start with "da" since its linguistically easier, but we got home from the cruise and he's laying on the ground going "mah mah mah mah" We're SO close to "mama".  lol! 
 
LO did great with his grandparents for the week. He transitioned to staying with them and then transitioned back home beautifully. I'm pleased to know he was able to adjust so well. 


I hope everything has been well with all of you! Any new things happen with your LOs? Any news?

    Glad you guys had a great time on the cruise. I would have FLIPPED about the water/juice though. If i remember correctly his family is bsc right?

    I'm jealous of the talking! my lo is no where near close to that!!!

    Lol yeah!

    My LO Jason interest in crawling or sitting up, only jabbering away it seems. Haha! When we put him on his belly he looks at us, rolls to his back, and starts telling us how annoying it is to have to do that.
