Clomid and follies ??

Hi ladies! I am on my 3rd round of clomid and curious to know what is the normal number of follies that you are all getting. My first two rounds of clomid RE prescribed 100mg and I had 5-6 follies, this round he decided to lower my dose to 50mg because of my numbers and I had 4 follies at my scan before the triiger shot (just got trigger shot 2 days ago). Are these normal numbers while on Clomid? Thank you! Best wished to all!

4 follies is still a lot.  Each follie could hold a mature egg so the chance of multiples is very high.  They usually don't trigger with more than 3 at my RE's office.  Glad to hear you are being monitored and GL to you!

I was on Clomid for 3 months, only monitored on the 3rd month though. I had 3 mature follies and 1 that was close. Since this was my 6th IUI cycle (first 3 unmedicated, last 3 on Clomid) we went ahead and I got the triplets. My RE will not go forward with more than 2-3 with me now. Good luck!

I always had 5+ follies on clomid so my RE wouldn't trigger - we always did timed intercourse. Anything over 3 my RE won't trigger. 4 is plenty!

WOW! Okay, well I was not sure if 4 was high or not. I guess it is. I am a twin, so I know the chances are high for me even before clomid, but with my DH's low motility the chances go down. We had 5+ my first two cycles on clomid and BFN. :( Thank you for all the feedback ladies!
