For us Braxton is a family name that has been used for generations (usually in the mn spot as with my sister), although my cousin did use it as a first name for his son.

Yeah, any name with "Brax" in it is just bad. Braxton, Braxson, Braxley, Braxlyn, Braxunique, Braxnevaeh.
