Parenting after a Loss

PPND?

Is anybody's partner suffering through this now or been through it before? Please tell me it gets better. I was prepared to watch for symptoms of PPD in me but I have no idea how to cope with this or how to help him.
We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

Re: PPND?

  • I'm a little worried about this, too, but for now I'm just keeping an eye on him. I think it's been really difficult for DH because he always feels like the "bad guy". They wail while he changes them and then I get to be the "good guy" with the breastfeeding. I might start pumping so that he can bottle feed and have that good bonding experience.
