Hi mamas!
Would any of you like to join a December 2012 mama/baby group on Facebook? I would create it to share all our stories of what we are going through prelabor, how labor went and all our stories and issues also stepping stones of our babies as they grow. Anyone interested?

Private information? I'm not giving any or asking for any. It's a simple page where moms can meet and enjoy each others stories and experiences. I'm currently in a group for my first birth and we enjoy each others stories and advice.

If everyone can do it on forums why not on a closed group Facebook page. No one is forcing you to give information out its simply what you put out there just like in here.

Thanks for setting it up. That's kinda what I plan on using this board for though. I don't know if ill be up to checking two different boards with the same people and sharing the same info twice.

I think what RissKay is getting at is something I recall hearing about a number of months back on here where there were some FB issues with someone's significant other... cannot recall if it was from our board or the details because it was from when I was new on here, but being cautious never hurts.

Very true. And the sole purpose of me creating a fb page for it is because for some people it's easier to check a simple page rather then searching through forums. That's my case anyway. It's open to anyone who wants to join. No feelings hurt for those who don't. Just another option. Thanks

Do you have to be a biotch to everyone all the time?? Every single comment you write is rude. She was asking if there was any intrest, if you are not interested then move the f on. No need to be snarky and make a rude comment. She was trying to do something nice. Does it make you feel cool calling people "newbs"? Not everyone spends all day on the bump... Doesn't mean they need to be spoken to like children. And no you dont know everything, so stop acting like you do.

Just know what you all are getting into, ladies. One of the FB groups that was created apparently posted a bunch of pictures of urine in cabbage, or something like that, to guess their babe's gender.

Even of those of you here that I like, I do NOT want to be seeing pictures of your urine. EVER.

You obviously don't know how Facebook works.

You join a page with random strangers, and immediately they can see your full name and whatever picture you have as your profile picture.

Not that I don't like you gals, but I'm not down with Internet strangers knowing my full name. At least buy me a drink first.

And yes, in another BMB a husband of a user was a convicted sex offender and had access to the site and pictures if everyone's kids. Creepy? Yes.

Im very sorry you may not understand FB very well. There are privacy settings. When I say that the group is private only I can accept people to join. No information is given away and or taken elsewhere There is just as much info put on fb as there is in these threads. Again as I posted wayyyyy earlier, this group is made for the women who, like me, dont enjoy searching through threads. It's everyones own choice to join such things out in the open such as these threads or PRIVATE facebook pages where conversations are all seen at once, you can get to know each other and enjoy sharing expierences. No one can see anything unless they are part of the group.

I understand the risks taken when posting/writing anything on facebook, all the same risks are taken on the bump or any other website where you give basic information. Thats life. Now please stop bashing and post your thoughts else where. Its obvious you dont want to be part of the group therefore theres no point in coming back and agruing about it.

Who ever would like to join is welcomed.
