Fruit and veggie pouches

B had her first one of these at a bday party yesterday and loved it.  My friend sent us home with a couple more and I am loving how easy they are...but they are expensive!  She bought hers at Costco, but they only carry the fruit kind (apple and apple berry) and I would love to try the veggie mixed in ones because she is not eating veggies at the moment.

Where do you buy yours?  How much are they?  Online at Walmart they were almost $2 a piece!

Re: Fruit and veggie pouches

  • I only buy the apple sauces because the other ones are so expensive. I buy them at wal mart and they are 4 for like 3.50. But they are with the regular food and not in the baby section.

  • I got some at Target the other day for .82. Up and up brand.

I don't know if you have an Albertsons where you live but they often have the Peter Rabbit Organic brand for $1

  • Are we talking about, like, Plum Organics pouches?

Ry still loves them and I use them on the go... We get them at BRU because they go on sale 10 for 10! That's for 3.54 ounces each.

    Apple/Carrot is her favorite. :]

  • I just bought 6 of the reusable kind of of ecobabybuy.  I'm excited, I think she'll actually use them!

The ones at Costco were about .50 a piece which isn't too bad, but man considering how much cheaper it is to puree up some veggies/fruits for the week I hope the reusable kinds work.

this exactly. BRU has them for $1 very often. I always stock up then since DD loves them and has at least one or two before bed every night. It's like her daily nightcap!

I like that plum organic has good veggie variety and they almost all have a grain in them too.

  • B loves them. Unfortunately we don't have a BRU or Sam's or anything like that around here so I usually buy whatever is on sale at Walmart or the grocery store.

  • Target.

I buy "happy" brand and they are 22.88 for 16 online or 1.50ish in store.

  • Our Walmart puts them on special 3 for 3dollars a lot so I stock up.

How are you all giving them to your LO? As a snack? With a meal? After meal?

  • Trader Joe's sells apple + carrot "crushers" pouches in multipacks. They're a little smaller than the plum organics ones, but they're cheaper as well-- I can't quite remember, but I think they're something like $3 for a 4-pack.

All of the above.  Usually as a snack, but sometimes with a meal if she won't eat her veggies or just for variety, since the only actual veggies she'll eat are peas and broccoli.

  • Ralphs carries some for 50c each, but they are only fruit. Target brand is usually under a dollar. Sprouts sometimes has the organic ones on sale for about $1.

I ended up buying some reusable ones from www.littlegreenpouch.com which are awesome!
  • Its the only way I can get Augie to eat veggies!  I buy them at Target mostly, sometimes walmart and grocery stores.  I expect $1.20-$1.60 per pouch.
