I've been pregnant only once before with my daughter. Im pregnant with my second child (my son) who seems to carry REALLY low. now i was breach all the way up until 20 weeks pregnant. then luckily for the both of us, baby Anthony turned over and hes head down. it just seems like now that he's head down, i get realllllly strong pressure.. kinda like he stretches his legs out and pushes his head down hard. the pressure stays for about 1-2 complete mins. i don't want to call my doctor and seem like im freaking out.. because im really not. im just curious as to if any other pregnant moms feel this.. its incredibly low around vaginal area low.. comes with a really tight belly.
Re: strong pressure in lower vaginal area... reeeally tight belly.
This is totally how I feel this pregnancy as well and this second child. I am also having terrible lower back pain. I had no back pain at all with my daughter. Sometimes for me the pressure is so intense in my vaginal area, I am sore on the lowest part of my pubic bone. I mostly feel this way when I have been walking a lot or on my feet for long periods do time.
I did mention to my doctor that I felt like I was carrying this baby a lot lower, but his response was..."your a little more stretched out this time". I guess so!
So I totally feel your pain and wonder how I'm going to survive for another 12 weeks! Hang in the!
Sounds like BH to me. My OB said I will feel stronger pressure down there during a BH contraction. So, between your pressure and tight belly, that's what it seems like.
And yes, sometimes mine last a couple of minutes. I asked about the frequency of them, and he said that as long as they are not timeable, don't get stronger or closer together, it doesn't matter how often they happen.
ETA: he also said that STM's tend to have BH more frequently than FTM's.

Sounds like it to me, too. I had a ton during my first pregnancy and it's already started with this one. Drink lots of water, move positions, and try to listen to your body. Good luck!
