So we went to get family pictures done for my parents. My mom really wants a picture of all the grandkids together so my brother brought his girls. The pictures were going to be done on a farm and outside. The weather was supposed to be 10C outside and it was supposed to be sunny. It was -15C and windy. Really windy. I had to go to set up for a trade show so I was going to meet everyone there.
DH managed to neglect to give DD a hat or mits, DS had a hat and no mits. My brother's girls were bundled up. We tried pictures outside but the younger ones were screaming bloody murder. We ended up doing the pictures in the photographer's basement on her sofa. All the kids have crazy static going on. And to be honest her basement is not great. DS took forever to stop crying and would only be in pictures if he was sitting beside my niece Bella. Bella was so nervous with him there that in all the pictures she looks constipated. The photographer took a bunch of pictures with all the kids and then we took DS away, took more pictures and she is photoshopping in happy DS into pictures where my niece doesn't look constipated.
She took about 500 pictures. So hopefully there are some good ones. She is bringing a DVD over on Thursday. I am not optimisitic.
Re: Must be the year for bad Christmas pictures.
Love it!
Sammy, I'm sure 1 in the 500 will be good. There is a saying that if a monkey pounds on a type writer, he'll eventually come up with something to rival Shakespeare....or something. My philosophy professor in college used to talk about this saying. I was usually either drunk or hung over in class....either way, fingers crossed for you! Sometimes bad pictures make better memories!
Oh my god that is awesome!
