  Also like it!  Thanks for posting.  I even try to exercise that with my 6 month old... it's fascinating watching her learn on her own, and learning to read her accurately.

  I teach Kindergarten and like to use that approach to teaching writing...just giving them the pencil and letting them do it. If it's scribbles, that's great, because it's theirs and it allows them to go through the stages.  I teach mini lessons and how to find words in the classroom like on the walls. But I don't write it for them to copy.  I think BLW can follow along these lines too...by giving them appropriate choices (nutritionally and not choking hazards) and letting them figure it out.
