Hi ladies,
I am fairly new to this as my son has just recently been diagnosed with food allergies. We will be flying next week and I know we need to bring his epi pens with us on the plane. Are there any recommendations to getting through security easily? Do we need to have a paper prescription with us? Do we need to declare them? Thanks so much for the help and any suggestions!
Re: Flying with epi pens
We got a letter from the dr but security didn't ask to see it. I would have one just in case, especially if you are flying international. I put all the epi pens, 5 of them, in a gallon plastic zip lock bag in my purse and sent them through the machine X-ray. No one even asked about them.
Make sure you pre board and wipe everything down.
Have fun on your trip!
