Good Afternoon Ladies,
I am new to this board but was hoping to get some information. First a little bit about myself. I am 35 and my husband is 38. We have been trying for our first for about 7 months now with no luck. I was just referred to see a RE.
I was wondering any of you have any recommendation. I was given the names of Dr. Neihardt and Dr. Russell from my OB. So if you have any input on either of them I'd love to hear it.
Thank you so much in advance!!
Re: Reproductive Specialists in DE and introduction
Welcome!
I have been working with Dr Russell and I think he and his team are all wonderful. they're very good about giving you all the information you need, working around your schedule when making appointments, and they are all so supportive and positive.

Thank you for your recommendation. I have been reading reviews online and am so confused. It is such a huge step and I am very overwhelmed.

it is a huge step and it can be overwhelming. I've found some wonderful girls on here that have been so supportive.
My husband and I first met with the RE back in October so a lot of this is very new for me too. just ask lots of questions and take it one test at a time.
My husband went with me to the inital meeting and he found that very helpful and so did I. There is so much that only you will do that its nice to have them involved and to have another set of ears.
there will be a lot of inital bloodwork and testing but its not all that scary.

Hi....I was a patient of Reproductive Associates of Delaware. They were very good. Dr. McGuirk did my surgery and I meet Dr. Fineburg too. Very nice. My friend had Dr. Neihardt and really liked her. She would respond to my friends email questions in a timely manner. My cousin saw Dr. Russell and liked him too. Most importantly is that all 3 of us have beautiful daughters now. :-)
Let us know if you have any questions. It can be very overwhelming.
Thank you both for the information. I have made an appointment with Dr. Russell. So now it's just the waiting. I'm sure as the appointment gets closer and probably even more so after I will have lots of questions.
My husband is going with me to the first appointment which will make me feel much better.

I don't have personal experience with this but I know two girls who have gone to Dr. Russell. They've both had awesome experiences.
Good luck!
