UG! I am soooo not ready for Christmas! Don't get me wrong I am finally thrilled to be playing Santa! But it feels like she just popped out and it seems too soon for Christmas already! I guess I'd feel differant if she was born earlier in the year. Then I would of had all year to think about Christmas ... but I've spent all year being pregnant and popping out a baby.
She'll be almost 5 months at Christmas time.
I'm thinking about getting some toys that she can grow into. However I am such a bargin shopper and the thought about finding bargains on several $10-$20 toys makes me even more tired than I already am! Then the tought of just hitting up the FisherPrice display in Walmart seems like I'm cheating myslef out of good deals! LOL!
Share your Christmas lists ideas for your young babies! When I was pregant I stalked friends old registries to see what they registered for. Wish I could do the same for christmas ideas!
Here's my list do far . ..

Also, anyone find any great upcoming deals on baby toys??? I might go to a consignment shop this weekend to see what they have!

At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
Re: Christmas Toys for 5 Month Old DD?
I totally understand how you feel. My son is 3 weeks old and it seems ridiculous to get him anything for Christmas, but at the same time I want to get him something...you know? We ended up buying the Groupon to Toys R Us ($10 for $20), and then I went on Black Friday and bought him the Baby's First Blocks that you posted about above, and the Walker to Wagon. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2541349&CAWELAID=107524546&pla=plat&cagpspn=pla
They were both on sale, and they were buy one get one 50% off, so I got a heck of a deal. Both toys were only $15 total. I bought him some books too, and MH is going to start a college fund for him that we are asking other family members to donate to for Christmas.
Good luck!

Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!
My LO will be only days old (hopefully!) on Christmas and we don't plan on getting her anything. I realize things would probably be different if she was a few months old, but even then, I'm sure we would not get her more than a few developmentally appropriate toys, similar to what you posted.
I think it would be kind of nice to get her something special, maybe a doll, or a nice blanket/lovie, that would be put into an eventual keepsake box just for the sentiment of knowing that particular item was given to her on her first Christmas.
Admittedly, I didn't shop for deals. I bought most everything at a local toy store and Amazon.
DD is getting:
A Learn to Crawl Tunnel
A Correlle baby doll
and some small toys (a winkle, a squish, a soft ball, a rattle) and books
We're also going to finally open her college savings account and put money in that.
