12wk growth spurt?

Is there a growth spurt around 12 weeks? My breastfed baby has been eating about 3oz portions. Yesterday he guzzled 6oz portions and the whole time I was at work he eat almost twice as much as normal. Plus, he normally wakes up once at night but he was up at midnight, 3am, and 5am to eat.

Does this sound like a growth spurt? He sure isn't sleeping extra like they tend to do when growing.

    We had ours last weekend and early this week was the sleepy part. So for us it happened 11ish weeks. But yes. 

    Is it strange that I love growth spurts!? I LOVE all the sleep at the end of it. I think my kid sleeps more like a typical baby, where as I think most kids sleep like cats during growth spurts.

    Yep there is a 3 month one and it sucks. We just went through the same exact thing. Hang in there.

    DS will be 12 weeks on Monday and this past week he slept a TON (including an 11 hour stretch on Wednesday night.) He's also slept in 8 hour stretches the past 2 nights.  I hope it continues!

    As far as the eating part of the growth spurt, I haven't seen much of a difference, but my big boy eats a lot to begin with so... ;)

    My little lady who was sleeping 86 is cluster feeding from 711 and then sleeping til 5 and cluster feeding til 8. She isn't napping much either. So yeah, I'm thinking growth spurt. O Hope it ends soon. Mama is tired!

    DD is 12 weeks today so I'm waiting for it to come... more like dreading it.

    L has been up at night to eat several times this week when she was only waking once. She has also been on the boob for much longer stretches. I assume growth spurt as long as it doesn't last too long.

    My guy ate a ton, fussed a ton, and slept a ton last week. I sure hope it was an early 12 week growth spurt! Sometimes the extra sleep comes after the extra eating so maybe your LO is just doing that?

    Yep, that's what it sounds like! We're in the midst of the 3 month spurt now. Lots of cluster nursing here!

    i'm thinking we're experiencing this a little early. DD ate 10 oz more than she usually does yesterday. it was insane.
