I'm looking for something new! I'm in charge of making homemade hot cocoa for my SIL's birthday party. She's turning 21 and wanted a good, basic cocoa that people can add stuff to (pass the peppermint schnapps, please and thank you). I've never made it for this many people and I was planning to use the crock pot. Any suggestions?
ETA: I have some from Pinterest, but I just wanted some "tried and true" if possible!
Re: Hot cocoa recipes?
Also a bit of vanilla is nice.
So good: 56 peppermint candy canes crumbled and placed into a mason jar with your choice of vodka. Leave in the fridge for a few days shaking it a few times each day until the candy dissolves. Mix with hit chocolate yum. Sorry, don't have a hit chocolate recipe for you though
ETA: Just saw this reply from the computer and realized that my phone went all BSC on me... Its 5 to 6 candy canes and "hot" chocolate, not "hit". (Looked like I was already drinking that vodka myself)
