Hotel - Newburgh, West Point

Help, we are heading to Newburgh, West Point area as my father in law is ill. Hotels are so expensive and don't have the best reviews. Any recommends from the locals?

    Either the Homewood Suites or the Courtyard are your best bets.  Both are pricier, but best service and rooms.

    Don't know if you have already traveled but my mom has a bed and breakfast in the historic district. Her food is awesome and the house is really pretty. She has many many people stay with her who are involved with West Point or the area. www.denistonbb.com good luck!
