NBR: Soooo PO'd

My not so DH "lost" his wallet. I was freaking out because the card for our joint acct was in there. He could have cared less. Well, I log on to my online banking and what do you know. $2000 of fraudulent purchases. I feel so....dirty? Like somebody... I don't even know. I am on the phone with my bank right now. :(

    Bah!!! I'm so sorry! That happened to me once, so I know exactly how you're feeling. I felt so violated. I hope you get it all sorted out quickly.

    ugghhh that's the worst.  I had someone steal my card and use it to pay a $700 gas bill.  Idiots.

    Ugh. This happened to me TWICE in 6 months. Only they didn't have my card, but had stolen the number somehow and made a fake debit card. Thankfully the bank was more than willing to work with me and gave me the money back...hope you have the same outcome!

    The bank said they would refund the money as the transactions posted. We also filed a police report. I know the malls they went to and the stores. The stores will definitely hear it from me since DHs card has his picture on it.
