sharp cervix pain.

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday !! and I want to say again congratulations to all of you who have been lucky enough to welcome your LO's already!!!!

 

I am curious if there are any ladies feeling soem serious sharp cervix pain. I keep getting it when I stand up quickly or just when baby moves.

I cannot believe we are almost at the end of our pregnancies and at the beginning of a whole new journey! hooray!

M/C (D&C) sept 15th/2011. Our little angel was almost 16 weeks. BFP on jan 14/2012. M/C jan 23/2012 BFP on april 12/2012 EDD dec 21/2012 Pregnancy Ticker

    I have been for about two weeks now (37w1d). I had my cervix checked a week ago and nada. My MW said it was related to him trying to get positioned in the birth canal and can be the cervix ripening and dilating. They come and go in intensity/frequency but I have a few a day.
    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    I'm pretty sure you are describing lightening or lightening crotch as its called on here. Yeah it's quite painful suddenly. Feels like stabbing or like baby punched an arm out of your cervix. It's normal and part of the deal.

    Yes! I get it all the time, pretty irritating...but we are almost there :)
