in October 2012 Moms
For those that ebf and have given lo a bottle, how much does lo eat from the bottle?
Ds2 is 6 weeks and has only been eating 2 ish ounces when given a bottle.

    E is 6.5 weeks and drinks anywhere from 34 oz. I found that sometimes he needs a break to burp but then he'll keep drinking.

    Thanks, girls! I kind of thought ds2 wasn't eating enough. He tends to cluster feed once he's offered the boob again. Not sure how to fix the issue, though.

    Alexis eats about 3-4 oz., but she has taken up to 5 oz.  I left my husband two bottles while I was gone and he ended up not feeding her the first one right away and when he did feed her she wanted it plus the second one.

    DD is 11 weeks. She will ALWAYS eat indefinitely so with a bottle we have to police her pretty carefully. We burp after every ounce and then look for additional hunger cues (licking lips is a big one) before giving her more. Because if offered, she will always take more and spit it up everywhere, and I hate wasting milk like that.

    In  the morning she normally takes 3-4 ounces and 2-3 in the afternoon / evening.

    Ds2 was 7 weeks on Thursday. He justs started 3oz bottles. He was eating 2 for many weeks.

    Same here except Ryker is 8 weeks. Occasionally he will do 5 oz.
