Cribs for Tall Parents

Hi Ladies,

I'm looking at cribs and I like the europa baby Palisades Lifetime crib but I'm wondering if it's too low (me and mh are 6'). What cribs did you go with?

FYI: For my first baby I got a Munire crib and it's awesome but pricey. I'm trying to be more conservative with my spending.

    My DH and I are both 5'11".  We got the Kendall crib from Pottery Barn ~$399 in the regular version (also comes in low profile).  It seems good for us, not too low at all.  But it's just set up so far, not actually tested with a baby yet.

    We have a Bellini crib; perfect for tall parents. My friend just bought a Jenny Lind style crib for a really reasonable price on Amazon and it's a nice height!

    It's on the expensive side but the Capretti Milano is very tall. Actually I'm 5'3" and cannot put DS in it because I'm not tall enough. Other than my height issue I think it's an awesome crib and all of the pieces wear chased are extremely well built ... Worth the cost.

    Ditto. We have a Bellini crib too and it is wonderful. Expensive, but nice for us tall folk 5'11 and 6'3.

    hehe do NOT get an Ikea crib then! they are super low. Like, below my knees!
