Cosleeping and baby 2 on the way

I never intended to cosleep but it happened with DD1. She is 3 now and sleeps some of the night in her toddler bed which is in our room but usually ends up in our bed. Baby 2 will be here in 5 weeks. We have a cradle set up in our room. What have others done? How does it work having 2 kids in the bedroom? Any words of advice? I'm okay having both kids in bed but it's only a queen. We did sidecar the crib for DD1.

    Our two year old usually ends up in our Ed because he pees thru hi diaper whole other issue. I plan on having new baby in bassinet in room and we are really trying to put her in crib as much as possible and keeping little man in his bed. I'm interested in seeing responses

    We had intentions of moving baby into her nursery when she was 2 months old. Instead, we moved her crib into our bedroom. Her room is on the second floor, and ours is on the first. She's almost 8 months. Just recently I've started her letting her sleep in bed with us in the morning. We hope to get pregnant again in a few months...Still don't like the idea of her being on  a different floor, and will probably convert a rec room we have into our bedroom and give our daughter our bedroom when she is about a year old.

    DS1 starts the room in a floor bed in his room (one of us lays with him until he falls asleep). At his first waking when we are in bed, he comes and sleeps between DH and I. DS2 sleeps in the sidecar/in the bed just next to me. We have a queen.

    I just had number 2 in October.  We have a bed rail on the bed.  DD sleeps between me and the bedrail, DS sleeps on the other side.  DH is currently sleeping on a futon because he injured his back nearly 2 years ago, and our bed is too soft causing more problems for it.  We are in a queen bed currently and it works without DH.  If DH is ever healed, we will upgrade to a king.
