I didn't really post heavily until the last few months, so I feel I've missed some things. Just a few questions to keep me from folding laundry:
1) How many siblings do you have (if you have any)? Order of children
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live?

4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be?

1) How many siblings do you have (if you have any)? Order of children: I am the oldest of three from my mother, but I'm an only child from my father. I have a brother (26) and a sister (24).
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? People are generally kind and trustworthy here. I wish there were more activities for Nora and I to do together out of the home.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? I do love me some Dexter, but I dig TBBT for some giggles lately.
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? I was on the fence with naming Nora either Jovie or her current name. Jovie was questioned while I was pregnant, but I think it really would have suited her knowing her personality now.
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? - I love that my family is so close. I hate that my family is so close.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? - New Girl has become my newest favorite. I laugh till I cry at every episode!
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? - I really love DS' name. I don't think I would ever change it.
1) How many siblings do you have (if you have any)? Order of children. I am the oldest of 4. I also have 3 step-siblings from my mom's 2nd marriage (2 older, 1 younger) and 1 from my dad's (younger).
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? I love being in the city because we are close to lots of things to do and see and also very close to a huge park and playground. I dislike being in a higher-crime area and not having a real backyard.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? I don't know that I have one favorite but I love Grey's Anatomy, Dexter and Parks and Rec. I like each for different reasons and when I'm in different moods.
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? I wouldn't change it. I love my daughter's name just the way it is. She is Alba Maria. Maria is after my grandmother who passed away just before Alba was conceived.

2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? We have all four seasons and LOTS of greenery. Two hours for the ski resort, two hours to the beach, and lots of fun stuff in between....zoo, science museum, Tillamook Cheese Factory, aquariums, etc.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? Modern Family...it's hilarious!
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? I wouldn't change Gator's name, but I am still a little disappointed the ones I loved were so popular. I loved Harper for five years. It was 439 on the SSA list. By the time I had Gator, it was 54 on the list. I wanted Harper June, but four months before Gator was born, an acquaintance of mine gave birth to a girl and named her Harper June. Since Gator was born, I have had two more friends use Harper June.....all using June after a Grandma. Makes me glad we nixed it, but I still love the name. The other two names I held onto until the very end were Penelope (a family name) and Phoebe. I love Phoebe! But now that the Kardashians have a Penelope, my guess is it is going to be popular, and a friend of mine just had a girl and used Phoebe. As much as I love Gator's name, part of me feels a little like I got hosed when it came to her name. Making list after list, SO said he didn't like any of the names. So when it came down to it, I caved and picked the #1 pick on his list....the only name on his list (besides Matilda) that I could stand. Her middle name wasn't on any list, and is after his grandma. And of course she got his last name. He says if we ever have a boy, he will get SO's middle name. But regardless, boy or girl, I am putting my foot down with the next kid and its getting a middle name after someone important to me and there will be more compromise on the first name......
Not being hot all the time is great, but I live through each winter waiting for summer to start again. Nora is a great name! I love my little Nora. It's also a very classic name. I got it from a little old lady we used to help at my prior job. Actually, quite a few names on our list were from elderly women. I really dig the classic names.

I am the middle child and I have two brothers.
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live?
I love that everything is so close and yet we don't feel like we live in the city. I hate that it's an hour to see my friends.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why?
We watch a lot of TV. Currently I have three favorite shows but they change. Top Gear UK, Stargate and Damages.
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be?
If I didn't have to use a J name I would have named DS Robert. We would call him Bobby. But really his name fits him. Actually as it stands we call him something pretty close to Bobby. We call him Bobos. We started calling him this because he loved the Bobo brothers on Go Diego and if you wanted to make him laugh all you had to do was say "Freeze Bobos!" And he would belly laugh. It stuck.

2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? I love the diversity, hate the traffic/congestion.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? I like "Once Upon a Time", reality crap, anything really.
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? Coralyn was going to Arielle (R-E-L) right up until the end. We went into the hospital with both names and I let DH choose in the operating room. I think she could fit either. If I were to rename her I might take the lyn off the end of her name and have her just be Cora.

This is complicated for me, too. I have one sister (same mom and dad) that is older than me, and I have 3 step siblings-1 older step-brother, 1 older step-sister, and 1 younger step-brother. The younger step-brother is only 7 months younger; we actually graduated high school together. So, I like to say that he and I share the "baby of the family" role.
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live?
I love that I can drive to either the beach or the mountains in just a few hours-you can do anything you want here. I hate that none of my family live anywhere close.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why?
This is a tough one-I am so into a few shows. I guess it would be either Once Upon a Time or Boardwalk Empire. I am obsessed with life during Prohibition, so that's why Boardwalk is entertaining to me, but I like the Lost-like feeling of Once Upon a Time with all the flashbacks. (A few years ago, I would have said Lost-hands down)
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be?
DH and I used to love the name Aiden, but then it became really popular and we wanted something different. I have zero name regret-Ronin is a perfect name for him, I think.

Its expensive, HCOL what I love is the easy access to beach, snow, mountains, and desert.

Ledger, JUST KIDDING
I liked the name Marcus, but looking back, it doesn't fit him.

2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? Love the weather (we truly get all four seasons)... Love that we're a quick drive to both the beach and the mountains. Don't really hate anything.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? Love tv. Love Parenthood. And guilty-pleasure-reality-tv, like Giuliana and Bill.
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? Hmmm... I love Cameron Kate's name as it is!

Well, I have an older brother (same mother and father) who lives in Maryland. My father was a skank, so I have an older half sister that I never met, and from what I am told, I have a younger brother as well.
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live?
I love the diversity and we have everthing here; the beach, mountains, NYC is close, Philly is close and there is so much to offer in NJ. I hate the COL and that it is so densely poplulated.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why?
Dexter, Homeland, Shameless, House of Cards - Anything of Showtime is a must!

I love Preston's name. We considered Jameson as well, but Preston was a clear winner.

2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? It never gets too cold in the winter, but it gets way too hot in the summer!
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? Any of the Real Housewives shows. I don't know why, but I love them!

3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? I love Downton Abbey & Sherlock...they are just so interesting and well written. I also am into Nashville, there is a guy on there Deacon...mmmmmmmmm.
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? I don't think I'd rename her. Now if we by chance get pregnant and have a boy...I will want to rename him. The name MH wants is RIDICULOUS.
I was driving to my sister's house last night with DH. Each time we smelled a farm, we could just about call out which animal we were smelling. We have never lived on a farm either.

I would not rename any of them, but I constantly think of new name combos that I like. I like Aleta right now.

I love the people, that its just a friendly town. I hate the blazing hot summers and not cold at all winters.
3 If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? Law and order SVU.. I'm a weirdo and get hooked to those stories!
4 If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? I'm very happy with the names we have chosen, jasper was a front runner for both boys and I still really like it.
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live? I love how there are a million things to do, but I really miss having seasons other than "wet and dry"
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why? I watch a lot of television. Some of my favorite shows are It's Always Sunny, Vampire Diaries, Psych, and True Blood
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be? My first choice for LBB was Theodore, but DH hated it.
Wilfred rocks! This last season did take a weird turn, but I sure hope they keep the show around. Jason Gnann is amazing.

I'm the oldest of 3. I have a younger sister (middle child) and a younger brother.
2) One thing you love/hate about where you live?
I love how close we are to great doctors, schools, shopping, things to see/do, but I hate not having my little country home & horses and not having any friends/family nearby.
3) If you watch television, what is your favorite show and why?
I love love love Gilmore Girls. I have them all on DVD except the last season. MH thinks I'm a little bit Lorelei
4) If you were to rename any of your children, what would they be?
I love her name just the way it is -- it has a nice flow. But, like mamaZbo said, I might take the 'lyn' off since everyone just calls her Kate anyways.
