PW today-- anyone work in dentistry?

I'm looking into the 6month smile clear braces system. apparently it aligns your teeth without changing the bite you already have, whereas normal braces are trying to give you a perfect bite as well. If I dont mind the overbite I already have, would this be a decent option?

I just heard about these for the first time and would love any input, thanks!

    A friend of mine works for an orthodontist. She said by the time you spend the money and time with the invisible things, you would be better off just getting braces.
