Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? Ireland. I loved kissing the Blarney stone. I can't imagine how much more of a word bumbler I would've been had I not kissed.
What is one book everyone should read? Hmmm...Maybe a book that explains the background, traditions, beliefs and practices of all religions since that seems where most world conflict comes from. For fun...Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
What is/are your favorite magazines? Self, Glamour, Food Network
What do you do when you have spare time? Knit, swim, read

What's your ideal vacation? I would love to go back to Germany.
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? Germany. Neuschwanstein Castle was incredible. Plus the skiing was better than any place I have ever been before.
What is one book everyone should read? I just wish people read more.
What is/are your favorite magazines? National Geographic
What do you do when you have spare time? I read and crochet when I do manage to get some spare time.

Which shoes are your favorite? Comfortable ones.
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? I really loved Boston for its historic value, but I've also loved camping in the mountains here in the NW and seeing beautiful rivers and mountaints.
What is one book everyone should read? Hmm. I don't have any that I think would apply to a broad audience or that EVERYONE should read once in their life. I'll be looking at this answer though!
What is/are your favorite magazines? I read People pretty regularly. It is completely mindless and has lots of pics.
What do you do when you have spare time? Spare time?! LOL. Right now it would be to nap, but if I had a couple hours all by myself I would go shopping or get a pedi. Staring at the wall sounds luxurious at times though.
How tall are you? 5'2"
Which shoes are your favorite? My Frye "Melissa" boots.
I want to go to Hawaii so badly. I like a mixed bag if things, though. Tropical getaways are wonderful because they don't come around that often, but I also love the long weekend ski trips H and I take upstate, or our weeklong camping trips to Maine.
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why?
St. Lucia for our honeymoon. What a gorgeous island and we did so many cool things; a jungle tour, hike to a waterfall, sailed at sunset, ate dinner nestled in the mountaintops during a rainstorm, swam in sulphur springs.
What is one book everyone should read?
Life of Pi.

What do you do when you have spare time?
Nowadays, sit on my ass. Before pregnancy, I would catch up on TV or read while DD napped.

Like, brand? I'm not much of a brand hoe. I like Steve Madden boots. If you mean what are my fave shoes that I own, I'd prob say my Nike free run sneaks for comfort and my Banana Republic gray suede platform pumps for dress up.

What's your ideal vacation? Somewhere tropical. I think I'd really love Fiji. I also really want to go on a stag hunt in New Zealand.
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Alberta.
Why? Awesome scenery and I just plain love Canadians. They're the bomb-diggity (at least of the ones I know).
What is one book everyone should read? Normally NMS at all, but "The 5 Love Languages", I've been able to use a lot of the suggestions and it has worked wonders for some of my relationships.
What is/are your favorite magazines? Don't really read any. MIL brings me her old copies of People and I like to flip through those. I'm definitely more of a book gal though.
What do you do when you have spare time? Outside of the kid centered activities; Bead (jewelry), watch some of my DVRd shows that I never seem to catch anymore (Castle, Parenthood, Good Wife, Revenge), read.

Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? Italy for our first anniversary! It was the trip of a lifetime, so beautiful and so much history and culture
What is one book everyone should read? I don't like to read, so I can't answer this
What is/are your favorite magazines? US Weekly, People
What do you do when you have spare time? Well, I work full time and have a two year old, so I barely have any

Which shoes are your favorite? I like Privo shoes for comfort
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? I really liked studying abroad in Europe when I was in college. Hard to pick my favorite place I traveled to at that time - though I loved Paris and London. Two completely different cities, but very beautiful in their own way. Would love to go back to both someday.
What is one book everyone should read? Oh man this is hard... If I want to come off as a little smart I would say Freakonomics - that book is really good and very thought provoking. Books to just enjoy? I really loved Harry Potter. It's been a while since I read them and I'm considering a re-read of the entire series soon.
What is/are your favorite magazines? US weekly! And I am not ashamed of it! I love my weekly dose of celeb gossip and pretty pictures! Makes my workout that one day of the week go by so much faster and is so much more enjoyable!
What do you do when you have spare time? Lately it's been a lot of TV watching - our DVR is seriously overloaded right now. Usually I am reading a lot though.

Which shoes are your favorite? Comfort or cute? For comfort - my Uggs all the way. Cute - I have some small wedge brown boots that I like a lot. However, they are starting to come apart so I need to replace them soon...

What's your ideal vacation? Dh and I really want to go to New Zealand, while relaxing on a beach somewhere is nice, we're more in to "active" vacations. We went off roading in Aruba, I enjoyed that way more than the beach. New Zealand just seems to have so many cool things to do. Plus my dad is a LOTR nerd, and it rubbed off on me lol.
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? Denmark, we actually didn't go to Copenhagen, my sister got married (long story as to why) in a small town Sonderborg. I loved seeing a place that's not on the beaten tourist path. We stayed at a hotel with a thatched roof, got to have breakfast looking out at the Baltic sea. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been.
What is one book everyone should read? Can't come up with something... My son's favorite book right now is Go Dog Go, I've read it 4 times today alone.

What do you do in your spare time? Read, watch tv, sew (when we find out the gender I'll make a baby blanket.) or cross-stitch.

Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? Croatia. It's right on the Mediteranean and it was so not touristy, it wasn't in the Eurozone then so much cheaper. I could really enjoy everything without worrying about money. Also, there are so many Roman ruins, it was amazing.
What is one book everyone should read? Hmm... I don't know. There's a lot of books that I love but I don't know if everyone should be required to read it.
What is/are your favorite magazines? The Economist and that's about it
What do you do when you have spare time? I like to go on walks, take DS to the park, shop, dine out

You are awesome! I love living in Alberta, being so close to the mountains is amazing.
Where is the coolest place you've gone? Why? I haven't been anywhere cool. The best vacation I took was a road/camping trip through Yellowstone.

What is/are your favorite magazines? Any magazine. Seriously, I love magazines and I will read just about any magazine in my path.
What do you do when you have spare time? Read, play with my dog, movies, hang out with DH, friends, etc.

One of my BFFs is from Nanton. The mountains are A-MAZING. Not to mention all the bars serve well rye that is better than the top shelf whiskey we have in the states. But, I'm pretty into my booze, so there's that.....
