It's been awhile since i've been on here, but i am fustrated and need to just vent. But wouldn't mind some advice too. I have been TTC baby #3 for just over a year now, and it is furstrating. we concieved our 1st 2 babies together in once month. and he had a baby with ex not even trying. so this is making me go crazy.
but here is where i blame him, i have been trying to do different things now, see if maybe this will work better.(so this month i had asked him over a few weeks ago if we could have sex everynight during Ovulation time. so for 5-7 days in a row. he promise me he would. so we can see if we were missing the day by doing it everyother night. so tonight after his favorite shows he says do we have to do it again tonight im too tired. i knew he was going to say that, instead of not watching the shows and going at it right after the kids are in bed. what is so hard about that. he said he was really missing me all day at work each time we talked on the phone. and when he was home tonight he mentioned about our session last night being so good and what he tried new for my sack. and now i am sitting here on the computer while he is sleeping on our bed. I am not getting young, and i thought we both wanted this so bad. i can't do this thing alone.

Your hubby may have promised a while ago that he could do sex every day for a week, but when it comes down to it he just might not actually be able to it, especially at our over-35 age. My hubby is 40 and for years now sex even every other day is often more than we can manage. I'd be tired too having sex every day, if I'm honest, I don't think I could even do a few days in a row, let alone 5-7!
Are you charting (temps, OPKs, etc) so as to know when you ovulate? Perhaps if you chart you could figure out your actual ovulation date and not have to have sex every day for so long.

I agree with gscoville, temping, opk's, and cm checks are very helpful. Also it's been 10 yrs since the oldest was born and 3 since the youngest, alot can change in that time. Also sperm and eggs start developing 3 months before they are "used" so the 3 months before your wedding if they were stressful, may have put both of you at less then great odds, for the last 3 months....
Sperm also last approx 72 hours, and the egg starts to breakdown after 24, so i fyou actually miss a day, you should still be ok.
My Ovulation Chart
Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
3 cycles clomid with Ob,
1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.
May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN
May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't.
February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing.

I feel your pain. Seems like I have the same issue with my DH just about every cycle.
