This is probably asked on here a lot, but did any of your first trimester symptoms start to subside at 9 or 10 weeks? I am 11 and a half weeks now, and my boobs were really sore right from the beginning, which is how I figured out I was pregnant, but they stopped being sore one or two weeks ago. They are still huge though, just not painful. The nausea also started subsiding last week when I was at my in-laws' for the holidays and I didn't have to cook anything and I was too busy to focus on being sick. It came back over the weekend, but today it is better. Is it normal for these things to be tapering off now, or is it a bad sign? I keep reading things about blighted ovums so I'm a little bit paranoid. I have also had slight cramping at various times throughout the pregnancy, but no spotting or anything. Thanks!
Re: Symptoms easing up?
I'm going through the same thing. I will be 11 weeks tomorrow, and I noticed the same stuff is happening. My boobs have stopped hurting after they had been TERRIBLY painful up until about a week ago. Thankfully I haven't had any morning sickness, but I've had this terrible gagging sensation that lasted all day everyday, and that's subsiding as well. And I have had some cramping as well, nothing painful, but definitley some pressure in my lower belly. The doctor told me that's just my uterus growing
From what I've been told, I think this is around the time that these "first trimester symptoms" are supposed to start to ease up, so I think we are both right on track! Second trimester is supposed to be better. And I have noticed some more cramping the last few days, again, nothing painful and no bleeding but defintley more frequent...I would imagine that it's because I'm approaching the second trimester and the baby is growing bigger and bigger...but I plan on running it by the doctor next week at my appointment.
Our pregnancies actually sound very similar! I only got legitimately sick 3 times, but I have had the same queasy, gagging sensation all day too.
I'm glad to know that this is normal, though. I appreciate everyone's encouragement. If anything gets worse I will call the doctor. I just wanted to check with others too.
