Does anyone have a site that lists BPA-free toys and/or manufacturers? It's a HUGE struggle to get ILs to buy DS BPA-free toys and if I had a site they could check I think that would help immensely. MIL told me that the cashier at BRU/TRU told her that ALL of their toys are BPA-free. No way I'm believing that. . .Thanks!
I don't know of any site that has a master list, but I know that it is "illegal" in Canada. I don't know if you could oder from a Canadian store maybe? Also, have you ever heard of Green Toys? All their toys are BPA free, manufactured in the US, and made from recycled milk jugs! Awesome, awesome, awesome! I love their toys!
We stick to responsibly made wood and natural fiber toys and refer the grandparents to HABA Toys, Plan Toys, Novanaturals.com, bellaluna.com, atoygarden.com, Etsy (searching for Waldorf toys as a way to start navigating the huge amount of amazing stuff). Mothering.com just came out with their annual toy guide and it has great ideas.
