I'm thinking about what I want to do for this first holiday season since we adopted our son. I'd love to hear your ideas! I would love to hear if visits or some kind of holiday traditions are included as well. Thanks!
I placed my daughter almost 6 years ago and I always exchange Christmas gifts with her and her family.
I created a tradition of always sending an ornament and something else (usually a toy or clothes) and I have also always sent along a little something for her parents (as a set) and her brother (who's biological). I'm thinking about only sending a gift to her now that her brother is old enough to understand why I may do that...not sure yet.
They always have sent me something for Christmas, as well - usually it's a handmade gift by DD or something simple (or combo of).
