How to strip in a L.G. FL washer?

I'm wondering if there is a way to strip using a FL or if it would be better just to turn up my water heater and fill my tub with hot water and let them soak in there for a few hrs and then just use my FL for my rinse cycles? I have some funk rock that a friend gave me to try out if that makes any difference!

I've done both - typically a bleach soak in the tub (so much work rinsing/ringing prior to washing/rinsing, but a good way to clean them every now and then), or a strip with Dawn in our FL (we have a maytag). I've found both effective, but the Dawn, applied very sparingly directly to the diapers in small drops and drizzles after the first rinse for the hot wash/cold rinse cycle works pretty well. I reach in the machine and apply the drops to the majority of the covers and inserts, then wash as normal, with a little less detergent, and then rinse, rinse, rinse.

I think most people recommend a tub soak, but I just don't have the time!
