Does anybody else have lines on toenails?

A couple of months ago, when I was cutting my toenails I noticed I had horizontal lines across my toenails. When I first noticed they were closer to the cuticle. As my toenails grow the line goes down further. Right now it's about half way down my toenails, on every toenail...

I got kind of freaked out at first thinking there was something wrong with me. But I'm wondering if it could be some kind of post partum thing. Like the lack of nutrients, or the trauma my body went through during that period and as a result I have lines on my toe nails..

Anyone else?

    I don't, but I've heard that nails can be an indicator for various problems going on in the body. Maybe a checkup is in order just to be safe? It's probably nothing though.

    Oh Preggers, I wasn't going to say it, but I too have heard that "lines" can be an indicator for something, but I don't remember what...but it really depends on the line.  I hate to even say this, but Google it.  You know what it looks like better than you could probably ever describe it...google it and see what might come up.  That way you know if whatever "issue" could be woud be pertinent to you or not.  Though I hate to ever mention to someone to Dr Google, this may one of those times to do it.
