AW: woohoo! Finally got my X-mas lights pic

Well, I haven't been able to stop talking about this picture I wanted SO badly. Between asking you guys how you did it, to complaining that JCP couldn't do it for me.. and DH was definitely getting annoyed of me trying every night! Finally, got some good ones tonight (without DH's help, TYVM!). I am beyond excited. I got a handful that turned out really good and am not sure which one I should use for Christmas cards! I put two of them in my new siggy if you want to see :)

For whoever it was that said their LO was scared of the lights, DD acted this way as well. I gave her some big shiny ornaments to play with and they distracted her. We played catch with them while I snapped my shots :) Eventually she warmed up.

    These r cute! I tried today too...where were they plugged in? DS kept going for the part plugged into the wall!

    That would be me!! We eventually got some but not with the lights on him...we did the lights hanging in the background, ornaments on the floor and a red rocking chair...they look good but I'm still jealous lol I'm on my phone so I can't see your siggy but I'm sure they turned out amazing like everyone else's! I'll check them out later from my laptop!

    DD was too scared of the lights to really go after any part of it. But, I did them in my kitchen so that I could have her on the hardwood, so I had to use an extension cord and plug it in on the counter. Worth a try maybe?

    That little set up sounds SO cute! I think I want to try taking some with lights in the background on a white sheet. Those looked really pretty. She is going to get so annoyed of me between now and Christmas.
