95.1 temp

Anyone else ever have one this low? DH freaked out when I showed him this AM - "Are you dead????" I'm wondering if it is my thermometer - which I only bought a MONTH ago, lol. Or if I am just freakishly cold...

    Did your thermometer for sure finish reading before you pulled it out of your mouth?  Did you have a cold drink beforehand? 

    That temp is pretty hypothermic, so I think it's a fluke.  Try again in the morning.  I know consistently low temps can be a sign of a thyroid issue, but it has to be more than just one rogue temp. 

    Hopefully it was just a fluke. 

    I actually took it twice (without getting up) and it was the same both times and it "finished" with it's flourish of beeps. I'm hoping it is a fluke, b/c I've been looking at stuff online and I don't want to be a hypochondriac... lol. I've always had low temps - usually around 96.5, but I've NEVER caught one that low before!

    I've had a few temps that low.  You're still okay, just cold.

    Odds are, if it was a one day-thing, it's more likely to be user error or thermometer error than an actual health problem, so step away from google. 

    Are you using a BBT that goes to the .00 as opposed to the .0? 

    They're more accurate, as they don't round up or down as the normal ones do. 

    LOL, yes, no google! My thermometer is only .0, I probably need to invest in a new one. I'll wait and see how my temp is for the next few days.
