Have to change it AGAIN

It's only by one measly day, but they changed my due date AGAIN. So now i'm due July 6th instead of the 5th, I already updated my due date under "my account" but i still need to update my ticker. That's one more day of pregnancy for this gal.

    Honestly one day means just about nothing. I was a may mom with E and had her in April. How many women actually have their children on the EDD? Oh almost none.

    I was born on my due my mom always teased the nurse was going to send her away because she told her babies are never born on due date

    Or in my case, months, since I've never gone into labor on my own and have always been at least 1 week past my date.

    I understand your need to be accurate, though, Mrs.Wilson.  I like to have a set goal in mind.

    I follow this logic.  I will pretty much consider myself "due" during the early part of July.

    I don't think i'll even make it to July. My DS was due November 17th and came exactly one week early on November 10th... So in my mind i think end of June, lol.

    Don't get so worked up about your EDD. It's an estimate. You could have your baby plus or minus two weeks. It's all estimates and not an exact science.

    DD had three due dates. She "missed" all three and came earlier. Babies come when they are ready. Don't stress yourself out over something you or your doctor have any control over.

    We calculated my original EDD July 3rd, on my DH grandmother's birthday. u/s tech said July 4th. We still say July 3rd lol I won't make it to July at all, never made it past 38 weeks with my other 3. This will be a June baby for sure :) I just like you guys and stay on for chats :)

    Some doctors in other countries do this!  My friend is Australia was given "between the second week of May and the second week of June" as her "due period".  I believe that falls between 38 and 42 weeks.  When I asked her about this she said it's because if you are earlier than 38 weeks you're considered "early", but not considered "late" until 42 weeks there.  I personally like that since it takes the pressure and focus off that one single date and gives you a more realistic expectation.  Especially since so many people I know get frustrated when they pass their due date by even a day or two.
