When did you switch to maternity pants this time?
I have not gained a pound yet and I'm starting 10 pounds lighter than I did with A but man alive is my belly getting big! I'm fine in the morning but my pants get so tight in the afternoon. At lunch today I gave in and dug out a pair of maternity pants to wear at work this afternoon. Holy cow I forgot how comfortable these things are!
I moved to maternity pants at 10 weeks with A. Looks like it's 9 weeks with this one. Yikes!
(also, I couldn't find my beband in my quick search at lunch ...)
Re: pregnant moms
Moosey, go get a pair with the secret fit panel from Motherhood. They're cute and so comfy and I got some for $30. Totally worth it, I swear. It'll be a long 1-2 months and you deserve it!
Sols, I started in maternity clothes when I was prob 8 weeks? Don't feel bad! It's just soo nice and once you put them on, you'll never want to go back. I'm running out of options already, bc my last two pregnancies were on the other side of the calendar
I hope to get some gift cards for my bday next month to get some clothes to get me through the winter.
Good luck!
Yeah, my one pair of maternity jeans are high waters on me because I have long legs. But I don't really want to pay an arm and a leg for "talls" from the Gap.
I am still in regular pants -- but am starting out smaller than I did with DS. I can't remember when I switched to maternity with him... I think it was past 20 weeks. But I remembered questioning why I hadn't made the switch sooner because they were so comfy!
I should try on my maternity pants at home... to see if they are more comfy. By the middle of the day, I'm so bloated I go from looking un-pregnant to 6 months within the course of a few hours... and it's getting hard to hide!
I started wearing some maternity jeans last week. I have a non-mat pair of jeggings and some regular leggings, sweatpants and yoga pants that I can still wear, but I just couldn't try to squeeze into the jeans anymore.
Moosey, last time I got a pair of maternity jeans at Target that aren't petite, but fit my short legs pretty well. They're the Liz Lange brand.
I still haven't been wearing maternity pants, but my situation is a little different. A) most of my maternity stuff is business casual since I was working when I was pg with L, and now I'm home. I could certainly still wear the clothes, but it feels silly to get that dressed up to stay home.
we moved and the movers packed them before realized I hadn't pulled them aside to the don't pack pile. Then we lived in a rental for 2 months and I didn't find them there, now they are sitting in one of the boxes in our room waiting for me to unpack them.
I mostly wear yoga or some other elastic waist pants, otherwise I use the belly band, which I am not fond of, so I avoid it if I can.
