  we have dark wood furniture (bed frame and headboard, night stands, and dresser) I also have my grandmothers vanity in there too, works out good, its also a dark wood. 

  (oh, and lets not forgot all the laundry on the floor lol)

  blues (lol rug and walls... DH def did this before I moved in!) and greys with a touch of yellow in the comforter!  our whole house has nice white trim around everything so i gues syou can count that too!
