We will probably do a mix too. I'll probably always have a small stash of jarred just in case those hours dwindle too quickly. I did bust out the baby bullet today though just to look through the recipe book!

I should open our baby bullet too. I'm wanting to wait another month until DS is 6m, to start with food but watching him eye up my food when I eat, makes me want to start sooner.
DD is doing this too... the other night we had spaghetti and she actually was grabbing for it as I was eating. I think I'll start soon... probably 2-3 weeks.
I'm going to make most of my own baby food for LO but I will also buy the baby food pouches and yogurt pouches that don't need to be refrigerated for when we are on the go. my SIL used to grab a Plum's Organic pouch off the shelf when shopping and let her LO eat it, then just pay for it at the end of the shopping trip...seemed ingenious.
I also bought a squeezable silicone food pouch with a spoon on the end. I'll fill homemade baby food with that when I'm able to have a small thermal bag packed.
I plan to make a majority of the food, but my sister gifted me a ton of jar food that I don't have a problem using. It'll be a mix of the two for awhile.

In my mind, I am going to make my own and do store bought for daycare and when we are out. BUT Im FTM so who knows, I may ONLY be thinking i'll do it and once I start I may think its a PIA and give up. We'll see!
A mixture. Meats probably make at home. I have the baby bullet too and never busted it out yet. We will see ppd is kicking my arse and I'm exhausted. I do have a jar stash already as walmart had a sale plus I had a sIck coupon
I plan to make my own but since I'm waiting until six months which is also when the pincer grasp can emerge, I'm not sure I plan to have all these frozen pures on hand. Maybe I will if I magically have time.
I made my own with ds#1, but he hated it. Then I bought jarred and turns our he just hated food in general.
So, I stuck with jarred because it was too much work when he only took a very small amount of food. (was almost completely FF until 15 months...he was even on the toddler formula).

Re: POLL- Just curious: Food
Those pouches are pretty good. My sister gets them for her kids, and I tried one. Fruity goodness.

Us too. We started out strong with homemade but eventually made a slow switch to jarred. This time I'll do a mixture of both.
I *think* we are going to do BLW, I guess that counts as making our own food :-)
Is it best to get a baby bullet or a really good regular food processor? I'm not sure what the difference is.
I plan to make the baby food but I will keep jars on hand in case I have a rough day and don't get to making any.
