Okay, I realize I'm not quite 16 weeks, but I've been feeling the baby since 11.5 weeks and more recently I've been feeling the baby most every at some point. This baby went CRAZY on Thanksgiving. The problem is that is the last time I felt movement. I've done the cold water and lying still and trying to be more aware, but absolutely nothing. It worries me that something might be wrong, but I also know the baby is still small at this point.
My 16 week appointment is Monday and I'll obviously talk to my doctor and she'll do the doppler, but would any of you ladies be worried about this, or do you think it's just normal at this point? Thoughts?
Re: Less movement...
I am 18 weeks and I have been feeling the baby since 12 weeks but I still have days when I can't feel him and I have a small frame. A lot depends on which way the baby is facing and at 16 weeks baby has a lot of room to squirm still.
if it makes you feel better you can call your dr to see if you can go in for a Doppler check! I hope baby starts kicking for you soon!
I haven't really felt movement and I'm starting to get a little concerned. I'm not sure what I'm looking for with the movement and when I think it's movement it happens so infrequently that I just assume it's nothing.
I have an appt today and I'm hoping the doppler will make me feel better.

Well, I just took a moment to sit on the couch and just decompress and I felt the little huckleberry moving. Whew. Normally I'm not a crazy person, but It had been so many days I was starting to get worried something might be wrong. Thanks for the reassurance
I really want a doppler, I've thought about it, but soon I'll be able to feel it much more frequently and I won't worry as much.
