But in a good way. She had started crocheting a blanket for the baby (before we found out it's a boy), and it's absolutely gorgeous, she has been itching to try this pattern for ages (even before I got pregnant, lol), but it has rainbow flowers on it (much more girly than neutral, I know some baby rainbow blankets can go either way, but this one? Not so much).

Anyway, after we found out boy, she's been trying to find someone else to give it to but we don't know anyone else who's pregnant with a girl. She just texted me and asked if she could give it to a mom (I don't know where she found this information, but whatever) who has colorectal cancer and is delivery a baby girl tomorrow. Naturally I said Of course!! And now I can't stop tearing up thinking how awesome it would be to get something like that from a complete stranger, especially in the situation she's in.
