So I can't wait for next year when I can put candy in Chloe's stocking and not just teething rings and baby socks. Of course I won't FILL it with candy when shes just 16 months old...but there will be candy!!
What is your favorite Christmas candy?
I'm chewing on crunch bells right now and some of those Hershey's almond and toffee nuggets? I think that's what they are. I don't care... they look like little treasure chests and they taste like magic.
Please, ask me how taking off this baby weight is going.
Re: Favorite Christmas Candy?
I agree but they are SO expensive! Have you tried the new peppermint m&ms? I'm wondering if they are similar. I have the regular mint m&ms right now.
I love Andes mints. I melt them on top of brownies. It's amazing.
The best peppermint bark in the world has to be the kind my Papa used to get for my Nana every year. It was her favorite and the candy shop that made it only made it for a few months out of the year so he would order her her own tray to the tune of $500 so she could have it all year round!... I need to get the name of that candy shop.
I second peppermint bark.
In other news, I saw an ad for white chocolate peppermint and cinnamon (two different flavors) Pringles the other day. Gross.
SCANDAL!
I also love those starlight mint looking taffy things with the picture of the tree in the middle. Anyone know wtf I'm talking about?
Toffifee. I know it's sold other times of year, but I only buy it during Christmas. The same with Turtles. You know, crap that sticks to your teeth and threatens to rip out your 15 year old filings.
I forgot about toffee. Every year I make caramels, toffee and truffles. I suppose they are Christmas candy since I don't make them any other time.
