Hi everyone -
i'm going to be brave and post in this forum after posting in the 3T and infertility board for the past 2 years! I'm 6 weeks today and my first u/s saw 1 sac, 1 fetal pole and 1 beautiful, fluttering heartbeat! We did a FET (transferred 2) on 11/5/12 and my due date is 7/24/13.
It's weird b/c i have been sooooo nervous and anxious since my positive beta two weeks ago. First, my beta rose but didn't double until the 3rd beta so i was freaked out about it being a blighted ovum. Now that concern is alleviated but i'm worried b/c i'm measuring "on the small side." My sac measurement was 8-10mm and everything i read says it should be around 14mm.
Cue me trying not to freak out. I see that another Bumpie is going through the same thing and i know that at this stage measurements vary widely and don't really mean that much until we get to the 8 weeks+ stage. Anyone have reassuring stories or comments to back this up!?
I am actually not surprised i'm measuring small. My first beta was 58, rose to 98 and finally hit 373 at 19DPO so i'm wondering if it's a combo of late implantation and frozen embies.
Anyways, i have been so cautious and nervous about my pg that i really haven't been enjoying it so i'm going to try to make a conscious effort to enjoy it from this moment forward. Next u/s in 2 weeks!
Until then, hello! I am glad i finally made it to this board -- for however long i stay. Hopefully it's 9 months!!

Congrats and welcome! It's hard not to worry, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't anymore. And even though I seem to hold my breath before every u/s until I see a hb, I have always tried to make an effort to enjoy each day that I am pregnant. My thoughts have always been that even if this doesn't end the way we hope, at least I can enjoy today for what it is. Hopefully you can do the same.

I am so happy to see you here! Congratulations!! Stop reading!! Is your RE concerned? If they are ok with the way things look, trust them! There are too many variations on measurements. When I had my a/s, I was worried because all my books had weight and length estimates for 20 weeks and our baby was sounding huge in comparison. I asked my OB at our next visit and the measurements were all spot on!
I hope you have a H&H 9 months!

Hi, I also had a FET on 11/5! My first ultrasound isn't until Friday though... it is so hard to wait!
Just know that the sac measurements from the ultrasound are not exact. Just because you measured 8-10 mm does not mean it is not really 12 or 14mm even. It all depends on the angle and who was giving the ultrasound.
Good luck!
Welcome! I think you will find the ladies on this board are uber supportive! Congrats and good luck!
Congrats and welcome!
And congrats on the heartbeat...that is a great sign! I have read in a bunch of places that FETs can be slower to implant, so try not to worry! It is hard not to be cautious and nervous...I think today was the first appointment where I didn't walk in praying "please still be in there" over and over. Each milestone passed helps, and like you said, make a conscious effort to enjoy it and send love to that little embryo!
I am wishing you a great 9 months here!
