I am on DPO10, CD 21.

I could technically test on Dec-1st (12DPO), which happens to be my first BFP Anniversary ? but Dr. wants me to wait until CD30, which brings me to next Friday (Dec. 7th).

I am tempted to test on Dec. 1st.. but I know I shouldn?t.. but I am tempted.. So we?ll see what I end up doing.

My company Holiday Gala is this Saturday. So I am looking forward to pretty?fying and having a nice dinner.

intro: My hubby and I have just gone through our second mc. We are determined to TTC right away. Going to see my OB/GYN next week for a consultation and hopefully she gives us thumbs-up. Last week for me was actually OK, I was able to hold my 2 mo nephew (he was due 5 days after I was) and I didn't breakdown.

QOTW: I only have three people who I'm stuck with. Hopefully I find something unique.

I'm new. I had my first m/c in August, got pregnant again two cycles later and had another m/c diagnosed on Monday. The nurse called and my beta is already down down 319 (as of Monday), so hopefully I can physically move past this soon. My Dr has agreed to do some repeat loss testing, so I'm scheduled for that next Tuesday. Hopefully we can find some answers soon.

Have you started shopping, or are you a superstar and are done with it all?What is the best gift you bought/planning to buy this year? Haven't really started thinking about it. I have been so wrapped up in the pregnancy and now list that Christmas presents is low on my priority list! Normally I get it done early though!

thanks, Funny Bunny... my loss history is in my sig, but basically H and I decided TTC in May 2012, got pregnant on the first shot, had a natural m/c at about 6 weeks. Took two cycles to get pregnant again, and sadly had an appointment almost 2 weeks ago that showed no HB and that the baby had stopped growing a week and a half before. Had a D&C, and now I'm here again. I have a follow up with my OB tomorrow, then an appointment with an RE next Tuesday. Not waiting around for a third loss like a of doctors apparently say you should.

This week has been ok. Surprisingly, being back at work has been a good distraction, so I am actually feeling better. I'm looking forward to seeing my OB tomorrow and hopefully he has some sort of plan or something to tell me. If not, RE is next week.

we're not a huge gift giving family. The older we get, the less we need and the more money our family spends to get together, since we're all scattered. So we don't really buy gifts. My sister and I took my mom to the Plaza for high tea in NYC last week, and took my dad to an exhibit at the NY Historical Society. They like that better than gifts!

Not sure what H and I will do this year. Last year we bought a house, so we decided gifts weren't necessary. This year, it's tough to get too festive, considering Hannukah starts in less than two weeks and I'm not sure how much holiday cheer I'll have.

QOTW: I don't usually think about xmas shopping until Dec23rd. Then every year I tell myself I should start earlier...

I'm doing alright. I've had a bit of a rough week of feeling jealous and bitter but hey, it's par for the course. My brother and his wife had their baby on Saturday and I'm taking it a little hard. I'm excited for this upcoming week though because DH and I are going back to Ottawa for another mini-vacation as well as for my consult with the doctor. I'm really hoping to get some answers or at least advice. We shall see. Plus, we're getting our tree on Sunday! Big Smile

Jenn0021: I see you are not temping anymore. I hope this is a nice break for you from the stress of it all. What house projects have you been taking on lately? I am really really enjoying the temping break. It feels awesome to be able to sleep in and not worry about taking my temp. But then again, I may feel differently come the 2ww. We shall see. I'm hoping to wait until after AF is due before testing but I may not make it. For now though, I'm relaxing. As for house projects, nothing new this week. I'm finishing up my tax course so most of my free time has been going into homework and assignments. Next on our list though is Christmas gifts, see below.

QOTW: We are making most of our Christmas gifts this year. We made salsa for the adults and will be making peanut butter squares for them as well closer to Christmas. And for the kids (nieces and nephews) we are making personalized chalkboards. They are going to be awesome!!!

I actually had a really good week. I've been feeling really hopeful and positive, but then I get pissed at myself for feeling that way. Like, I need to get with the program and realize I won't have a rainbow. Blahhh...

Well...My BFFs shower is Saturday that I'm hosting. It's actually a lunch and she did register bc she had given away her other stuff (this is her 3rd). I really don't get bothered by her pregnancy maybe bc we're so close. The upside to the thing is that only 1 of the other 3 pregnant friends will be there, and she's the one thats not showing..so I pretend its not true.

But, then DH and I have date night that night! I"m surprising him and taking him to a comedian and dinner!

Rachaelhudson: I hope you are not too sore from all the DTD I can?t even imagine what NTNP feels like ? I am imagining vacation.. How are you doing emotionally?

I am tired of DTD! Damn. I don't think that I'll be very good at NTNP for very long. I mean, how do you do that?!

ETA: Tomorrow I go for another hcg draw. 2 weeks ago it was 16...so I'm guessing it will have dropped by now!

AF was such a bummer this month. I'm having a hard time grasping the fact that we ARE moving on to IVF. It seems surreal to me. I had a baseline u/s and bloodwork done this morning. The nurse will call me this afternoon with the results and then I guess we'll get a plan for IVF? I'm still a little confused about how this all works.

QOTW: I haven't done any shopping yet. My family is very low key with presents, but DH's family goes all out (ie overboard) with gifts, so it's stressful for me. I think I'm buying DH a watch. He's mentioned he wants one a couple times, so I'll get him a nice grown-up watch.

Hi ladies!

According to my OPKs an CM, it appears I O'd on Thursday, which puts me 6dpo. I will test late next week...probably Thursday. I'm hoping for a BFP before my 1st loss date and this cycle is my last shot!

I have started shopping, but still have a lot to do. My favorite so far is a picture of a sunset from our honeymoon that I made panoramic and am having framed for DH. I want to hang it above our bed!

Loveniz: Can you shed some light for me on what Hydrosalpinx is? I?ve never heard of this. Many *FX* for your Dec. 6th appointment!

Hydrosalpinx is a swelling of the fallopian tube with fluid it distorts the shape of the tube and it can cause completely blockage of the tube. Mine is not blocked, just swollen, but they usually recommend removing the tube prior to proceeding with IVF. Thanks I'm hoping for surgery before the end of the year, because we already met our deductible and I have time off soon.

I am having a good week. I had my second acupuncture treatment yesterday and I really like it!

Hi funny bunny! I hope you're feeling better!

Yes we are cycle buddies! My AF is due Dec 2 or 3 so that's why I'm testing on Dec 1, but please don't let me be a bad influence if you are trying to hold strong and wait. I also don't know if I'd want to test on an anniversary, though I probably would because I'd feel like it was a sign, and then if I got a BFN I'd be extra mad at myself for feeling like it was a sign.

I haven't done much shopping and just told DH we need to make a list of who we're buying for. We are broke as a joke after our trip and just found out DH's car is leaking fluid from every possible place, so we definitely plan to keep things pretty simple.

i survived my 5th edd today we met with the RE, next cycle is IUI. apparently in addition to endometriosis, pcos, septate uterus, every changing hypo thyroid, crazy low vit d, and everything else working against me we now can add low sperm count!! yay jk

How did this last week go for you? I got news from a friend that she's expecting. She knows about 2 of the 3 mc's and I felt like she was insenstive in the way she told me...sent a text with a picture of her 1 year old (that's she's still breastfeeding) with a shirt saying he's going to be a big brother. I just would have appreciated a phone call and maybe a quick...how are things going for you guys? I know you've been trying too.
What are you looking forward to this week? The weekend...it's been a long week.

Meeblebee: Today is your Perinatologist appointment ? how did it go? Do you have any results?

The appointment went really good. Genetic testing from the D&C was in and everything was normal. There was nothing wrong with our little bean. So now we're on for a whole lot of blood tests. They came out with a little rack of vials that they filled up with my blood. We even went for the karotyping. Apparently even though this bean was normal, it doesn't mean the first two were and there is still a chance that me or DH are carriers of a translocation. I struggle with the testing. I'm not sure if I want them to find something or not. If they find something, hopefully we can "fix" it. I just don't want to go into pregnancy #4 blind. We're thinking we're going to shoot for March to start TTC again.

Have you started shopping, or are you a superstar and are done with it all? My family is doing a batch of wine instead of gifts. My brother's wedding is in two and a half weeks so it's less stressful for everyone involved. DH's family goes all out. Even his extended family does a $50 gift exchange...too rich for my blood. Thankfully we'll be out of town for this year's get together so we got out of that one.

What is the best gift you bought/planning to buy this year? We bought my husband youngest niece a cabbage patch doll. I remember mine was my favorite growing up and it will be fun to see her open it.

Sorry for being absent last week, but I was pretty busy with the holidays and whatnot.

(((Hugs))) to ufsandra85. And (((hugs))) to you, funnybunny as you approach your BFP anniversary. Have fun at the Gala and distract yourself from wanting to test. You've been so strong, I know you can do it!

How are you lovely ladies doing? Doing okay. I could use some prayers for my aunt who is currently hospitalized with some heart/blood clot issues.

How did this last week go for you? This last week was pretty good. Celebrated 3 Thanksgivings, including my very first Thanksgiving alone with DH. (he cooked=delish!)

What are you looking forward to this week? Tomorrow I have 2 appointments; in the morning, a consult with my ortho before getting braces off on Dec. 6 and in the afternoon an appointment with my clinic's new genetic counselor. Not sure what to expect from either appt., but I'm excited.

QOTW: I have not done one ounce of shopping yet. But I do really well under pressure. I always wait until early-mid December to get started.

This year, DH & I decided not to get each other gifts and instead, buy gifts for children in need. (through the Giving Tree at our YMCA) Smile

I guess I belong here now. :- But at least I'm in good company!
The basic history is in my siggy. We have been married five years and began TTC in February. Never really settled on an EDD for my first loss, because of wonky cycles and delayed BFP and other complications I won't bore you with, but I've informally adopted Valentine's Day as the date in my mind. Probably weeks early, but I liked the sound of it. So 2/14/13, I guess. My EDD for the recent loss was July 8, 2013.
I've felt like I'm regaining my physical strength this past week and getting back into the swing of ordinary life. I had a wonderful dinner and conversation with a dear friend last night, which helped!
Tomorrow morning is the post-game analysis with the doctor re. our recent loss. I'm not sure I'd say I'm looking forward to it, but I do hope he'll be able to address the concerns and questions of these past few weeks.
I did a little shopping Monday after my helpful TTCALers pointed out some Cyber Monday deals. Still struggling with what to get DH... and no great ideas, unfortunately! I guess it counts as PIP that I did buy him the little angel ornaments in my signature, to memorialize our losses. I am going to give him those when we put up the tree, though, because I'd rather not dwell on it on Christmas Day.

Yes, if I can trust my chart. I plan to test on Friday is af doesn't come first. I feel like it could come anytime now, but I have felt like this for days. I have spotting, but no actual flow. If I get a BFN and still no af I'm going to call my doctor. This cycle is driving me crazy.

*hugs* many of the steps in this journey for a Rainbow baby seem so surreal. Sometimes I can't even believe I've gone through all this stuff. Remember the goal, and how worthwhile it all is. Making a family is hard work!

Loveniz: Can you shed some light for me on what Hydrosalpinx is? I?ve never heard of this. Many *FX* for your Dec. 6th appointment!

Hydrosalpinx is a swelling of the fallopian tube with fluid it distorts the shape of the tube and it can cause completely blockage of the tube. Mine is not blocked, just swollen, but they usually recommend removing the tube prior to proceeding with IVF. Thanks I'm hoping for surgery before the end of the year, because we already met our deductible and I have time off soon.

I am having a good week. I had my second acupuncture treatment yesterday and I really like it!

Yes we are cycle buddies! My AF is due Dec 2 or 3 so that's why I'm testing on Dec 1, but please don't let me be a bad influence if you are trying to hold strong and wait. I also don't know if I'd want to test on an anniversary, though I probably would because I'd feel like it was a sign, and then if I got a BFN I'd be extra mad at myself for feeling like it was a sign.
I haven't done much shopping and just told DH we need to make a list of who we're buying for. We are broke as a joke after our trip and just found out DH's car is leaking fluid from every possible place, so we definitely plan to keep things pretty simple.

i survived my 5th edd today we met with the RE, next cycle is IUI. apparently in addition to endometriosis, pcos, septate uterus, every changing hypo thyroid, crazy low vit d, and everything else working against me we now can add low sperm count!! yay jk
i am excited about iui though hope this does it

Many *FX* for good test results!! I bet Dh is super happy ? mine was thrilled when we could get rid of the wrappers Dh is very very happy. I think O day *might* be today if temps cooperate. I would love to get a bfp this round. Dec 15 will be one week since my ectopic surgery, and it would be nice to have a bfp for that.QOTW: I have picked up a few things herea nd there. I really need to get my butt in gear, or I will be scrambling before I know it. Only a couple of pays left before xmas

How did this last week go for you? I got news from a friend that she's expecting. She knows about 2 of the 3 mc's and I felt like she was insenstive in the way she told me...sent a text with a picture of her 1 year old (that's she's still breastfeeding) with a shirt saying he's going to be a big brother. I just would have appreciated a phone call and maybe a quick...how are things going for you guys? I know you've been trying too.
What are you looking forward to this week? The weekend...it's been a long week.

Meeblebee: Today is your Perinatologist appointment ? how did it go? Do you have any results?

The appointment went really good. Genetic testing from the D&C was in and everything was normal. There was nothing wrong with our little bean. So now we're on for a whole lot of blood tests. They came out with a little rack of vials that they filled up with my blood. We even went for the karotyping. Apparently even though this bean was normal, it doesn't mean the first two were and there is still a chance that me or DH are carriers of a translocation. I struggle with the testing. I'm not sure if I want them to find something or not. If they find something, hopefully we can "fix" it. I just don't want to go into pregnancy #4 blind. We're thinking we're going to shoot for March to start TTC again.

Have you started shopping, or are you a superstar and are done with it all? My family is doing a batch of wine instead of gifts. My brother's wedding is in two and a half weeks so it's less stressful for everyone involved. DH's family goes all out. Even his extended family does a $50 gift exchange...too rich for my blood. Thankfully we'll be out of town for this year's get together so we got out of that one.

What is the best gift you bought/planning to buy this year? We bought my husband youngest niece a cabbage patch doll. I remember mine was my favorite growing up and it will be fun to see her open it.

your debate on what you want the results to say is something I went through too. In retrospect, I think it's always best to hope for clean bill of health!

Hello, lovely ladies! I'm doing okay. Trying to prepare for the speech & debate tournament that I am hosting. Its been crazy trying to get everything ready. But its also been great - distracting me from obsessing about our cycle.
I start Lupron this weekend....its crazy that it is so soon. But I'm also glad that time seems to be passing quickly. I hope it continues.
My cycle coordinator is leaving the clinic, she wrote me an email to say she was leaving in which she told me all about how she is going on maternity leave for her second son, who is going to be born in December and how she doesn't think she will be back after that and blah, blah blah
really lady? And you wonder why I don't like you. I don't understand how you can work for the donor egg program and still be insensitive enough to write an email to a woman who's cycle just failed cooing about the birth of your SECOND child
what a douchcanoe.... but the good news in all this is that I get a new coordinator. I had nothing but problems with the last one, she was terrible at following through and communicating with me and answering my questions. I really like my new coordinator. So far, she's been easy to work with and totally on top of details. She is even funny, so overall - I'm happy. I hope its a sign of good things to continue.

I have done almost all my shopping, still have to get gifts for my nieces and nephews - but I find buying gifts for kids to be the hardest.
I have 2 of my favorite gifts. One is a mosaic - I took a portrait of my dad and used all the pictures I pulled together for his memorial service in a mosiac to make up the larger portrait.

The second is a wine making kit for DH - we have a beer brewing equipment and with just a couple extras - we can make it a wine making kit. Then I got the ingredients for a white merlot.... although I hope that I won't be able to drink it for several months!

people are stupid! How can someone work in a IF field and still be so clueless??

Sorry for being absent last week, but I was pretty busy with the holidays and whatnot.

(((Hugs))) to ufsandra85. And (((hugs))) to you, funnybunny as you approach your BFP anniversary. Have fun at the Gala and distract yourself from wanting to test. You've been so strong, I know you can do it!

How are you lovely ladies doing? Doing okay. I could use some prayers for my aunt who is currently hospitalized with some heart/blood clot issues.

How did this last week go for you? This last week was pretty good. Celebrated 3 Thanksgivings, including my very first Thanksgiving alone with DH. (he cooked=delish!)

What are you looking forward to this week? Tomorrow I have 2 appointments; in the morning, a consult with my ortho before getting braces off on Dec. 6 and in the afternoon an appointment with my clinic's new genetic counselor. Not sure what to expect from either appt., but I'm excited.

QOTW: I have not done one ounce of shopping yet. But I do really well under pressure. I always wait until early-mid December to get started.

This year, DH & I decided not to get each other gifts and instead, buy gifts for children in need. (through the Giving Tree at our YMCA)

its so sweet that you and DH are remembering to do such a selfless thing. This is what holidays are all about.

Thanksgiving was overall pretty nice. Spent it with the IL's. It's nice to see them, but 5 days together was a little much. I was happy to get home by the end of it!

I'm not sure how long I'll be benched for. I'm having b/w done tomorrow to check and see where my thyroid levels are at after this new dosage. If I'm in the normal range then we're cleared to TTC again! FX!

I have ALMOST all my shopping done. Just need a few last minute things for DH. I know what they are, just need to actually buy them!

I should re-intro here since I haven't posted in awhile. I had my 5th loss the day before Thanksgiving. This was the first pregnancy that I was on Lovenox, the first one where I actually made it to my first ultrasound with no bleeding, and the first time I got to 9 weeks. Unfortunately, at that 9 week appointment, my OB discovered no heartbeat or movement. I had a d&c yesterday.

QOTW: Unfortunately, I think the holidays are going to be a downer this year with everything that has happened recently. It's a double downer because last year, we lost our 2nd pregnancy not too long before Thanksgiving, got a surprise BFP immediately following my d&c and lost that one the day before Christmas Eve. I think I'm kind of done with the holidays...but we are doing our shopping next Friday.

Thanks hopefully this cycle will go well. It did help that the first week was during thanksgiving helped the time go by faster! I haven't thought about what to ask the RE yet I planning to start making up a list of questions after the new year to get prepared. So far I have just been filling out the lengthy new patient packet they sent me in the mail. Other than that I am doing good. Just waiting for next week when I get that positive OPK. Work has been super busy so I haven't had to much time to sit around and obsess so that is helpful!

QOTW: I have gotten some of my shopping done unfortunately I have a ton left!! and I am making some gifts so I have got to get going so I can get them all done! I knit so I am making my mom a wrap which is taking me a lot longer than expected!

update: DH is doing alot better.. his fever broke on Wednesday and his appetite got better, but on thanksgiving he had to eat small portions in order to introduce food to his stomach.. thanksgiving overall was good..question: I've shopped here and there all through the year.. As for best gift I'm still looking for a great gift for DH...
