Have you ever lived abroad? Define "live" as > 6 months.

TTC #1 since Sept 2011
BFP#1 1/31/12. Empty sac discovered 3/5/12. MTX due to location in uterine horn.
BFP#2 2/27/13. Empty sac confirmed 3/20/13. Mifepristone + cytotec.
Currently TTA until Fall 2013, waiting for operative hysteroscopy

    I've lived in Italy twice.  3+ months at a time.  So I voted SS.

    I never have but would like to. I've got my eyes on Sweden and Germany. DH is in the Navy Reserves so he says we can't unless he resigns his commission. I've asked him if we can utilize his position in the Navy to get to some place else but he's also a professor and doesn't want to leave his university. He recently showed me a job description for a professorship at a uni in Finland. I begged him to apply but he didn't. :(

    I think the most difficult part of living abroad would be being so far from family. Also, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats and they would have to come with us.

    I clicked no, but I did stay in Russia for a month once. 

    Okay, I know that doesn't count but I just wanted to fit in.

    The first 6 years of my life were spent abroad.  We lived in London, The Hague in Holland, Stavanger and Tananger in Norway, and finally Balikpapan in Borneo.  We were only in London and The Hague for a couple of months.  Borneo was only a month because my mom could not stand it. 

    My dad also moved to Moscow while I was in college, with the plan to relocate my family as soon as space became available in the American High School for my sister.  His job got pulled before they made the move, but I still got to spend a little over a month in Russia with him the summer before came home.


    TTC started Oct '10
    Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
    DH: Low-T and borderline morph
    18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
    EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
    11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
    Moving forward with IVF
    BFP#2 our little cycle break surprise on AL cycle 12! EDD 10/27/13
    Beta #1: 41 Beta #2: 398; perfect u/s 3/11 hb @133bpm
    u/s 3/25 one perfect hb @183 bpm, adjusted EDD 10/23/13
    MaterniT21 and carrier screens normal. It's a girl!!!
    Severe Pre-E, HFpEF, PE, AMA & IF= OAD

    I lived in England for 4 years with DH before we were married. I won't totally rule out that we wouldn't live there again some day. I miss the shopping!!

    BFP#2 Oct 24, 2011, natural miscarriage, EDD unknown
    After RPL testing my losses and subsequent infertility are considered unexplained.
    Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!! 
    BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!

    I was 12 so yes and no. My dad took me on a tour of Italy for my 12th bday.  Looking back it was really cool, but I know I didn't appreciate it as much as I would now.

    I lived in Iceland for a study abroad program, so it was only 2-3 months.

    I am American, but lived all over Europe for 3 years. Moving back once I finally have a baby. ( our plan had said next year, but ?? )
