I have been cracking up reading this thread and it made me think.... I would NOT want to hear about my parents sex life......

Here it is anyways... I got away with 22 years of my life and the night after I got engaged and was moving out the next day I walked in on my parents..... Scarred FOREVER!

    My parents have been very open about their sex life. It's the reason I get really uncomfortable when I hear smooth jazz, since I learned early in life that smooth jazz = brown chicken brown cow.

    So, I didn't really know my dad growing up; he was in and out. When I was 15, I moved in with him for one semester (the grass was going to be greener...not), and he felt the need to overshare about EVERYTHING to make up for lost time.

    He told me that I was conceived in my grandma's basement in her rocking chair. Gross, right?

    Then, my mom, without knowing I was ever given that information, tried to give me the rocking chair when DS was born.

    GROSS. GROSS. GROSS.

    ETA: How you do it in a wooden rocking chair is beyond me. My mom was apparently an acrobat. Barf.

    I walked in on my parents when I was in college. Luckily they didn't hear me and I didn't scream. I just backed up and closed their door.

    I figured it could have been worse. Thank goodness for blankets.

     Erg, same reason I can't listen to Michael McDonald.  Every time I hear his voice I cringe.
