Free gifts....

My SO works in sales. A few weeks ago, a company he sold some items for contacted him. They asked him if he was going to "use his points". He was wondering what they were talking about, and they told him that when he sells something from their business, the seller earns points that can be redeemed for trips, merchandise, etc.

So last night he sits down, gets into the account, and says "maybe we can use all of the points to buy someONE a Christmas gift..." Turns out, he had so many points, we only used a quarter of the points and got a Shark Vac and Steam mop, a KitchenAid Pro 600 Series Mixer, THREE Le Creuset 7QT French Ovens, AppleTV,.... and got a Crockpot, Crockpot mini Dipper, nice silverware set, baking sheets, and other odd and ends for his niece's first apartment......ALL FREE!

He only sold five items for this company. They have the BEST rewards points IMAGINABLE! I told him he should probably start selling more stuff for them. Their rewards catalog is massive, it's like shopping on Amazon. It has everything you need and everything you THINK you need!

I am SOOOO glad the company called him and mentioned the points. They could have been sitting there forever unused!

  • That is some awesome points program. A number of the things you listed are hundreds of dollars each.  I'm jealous of your Le Creuset.

I know! That's why I told him to sell more of their stuff. Normally you have to save points FOREVER just to get one tiny thing. It's kind of like when you go to Chuck'E'Cheese and spend 50 on tokens....and then cash in your tickets and you have enough to get a bouncy ball. A very expensive 50 bouncy ball. I hate rewards like that.

    But this company kicks arse!!!

FYI about chuck E cheeses. If that ball was a hundred tickets and you only have 40 tickets you buy the remaining tickets, a penny a ticket.
